LuLu's Pictures

My name is actually Lacey however as a child I was given the nickname "LuLu" and it kinda stuck! I answer to both Lacey and LuLu. I love art, design, and photography. I won my first photography award when I was 16. Since then I have been featured in several shows including: the Fort Hays State Student Exhibition, I have been in the 5 State Art Show three times, and had one of my photographs chosen to be displayed in Photographer's Forum book of who's who in photography. I love capturing the moment of two people in love and ready to start a new life together, or perhaps it is a child with the excited playful look in their eyes as to what is going to happen next. Seniors are some of my favorite sessions to do. It shows who they are at this very moment in their life, which is one of the most exciting times in one's life. At the end of the day, plain and simple I just enjoy taking pictures. I wouldn't consider myself to be a professional however when it comes to photography I am a perfectionist! I feel there is still so much for me to learn about photography but right now I am enjoying learning new things along the way. I want to show who you are and tell your story.

The Funny Family

No their last name is not funny however they most certainly are and I can say this because they are mine!  My aunt and uncle are leaving for Russia today to meet the newest addition to our family.  They do not get to bring him home therefore they wanted to take some family pictures to leave with him.  Their oldest daughter Lydia is 7 going on 17 and from China, Sam just turned 5 and is from India.  You could say we have a multicultural family! The girls are always more than entertaining and their dad is quite hilarious as well.  It was only a 20 minute photo shoot due to the fact that Lydi and Sam wanted to run and play more than pose for LuLu's pictures.

I said they were a funny family.  My favorite picture of the day!

She's so dang cute, even though she complained about the itchy grass the entire 2 minutes she laid in it.

Miss Samantha was NOT laying in the grass or sitting in it anymore...

I loved all the pictures of these two they are just adorable!

They are both so darn cute!

I had to have aunt Connie take my pic with my girlies, I sat in the grass and held Sam so she wouldn't have to.

Overall, it was one of the fastest photo shoots I have ever done and I would say the outcome was pretty darn good but with these subjects how could it not be!
