Baby Emma Loves Her Fingers!

Ashley and Her Boys

As I stated before, I have been in a creative slump like none other.. therefore with my dear friend Ashley being pregnant I thought it would be the perfect time to twist her arm into letting me take some pictures of her.  I had never been so darn excited about light until this evening...it was absolutely perfect therefore I was guaranteed to have a great shoot...if my camera were to allow it.  My camera would NOT focus on Ashley a single bit, I could take a picture, then put her in the exact location and nothing. I was fortunate enough to get around the glitch for a couple really good shots that are just a tad out of focus.  Ashley and Pheonix were such good sports and I am pretty sure I have now figured out what was wrong with my camera!  So, thanks Ashley for letting me experiment with you and I am so dang sorry I was only able to obtain a couple shots! :)

Kisses for Baby Brother

Adorable!

He's going to be such a good big brother!

I absolutely LOVED this shot of Ashley, she looks beautiful!

Emma and Carson

As stated previously... I have been in a creative slump!  I took these pictures months ago and am JUST NOW posting them.  Baby Emma was born this summer and I went to her house to catch a few shots of her and big brother Carson!

He was laughing...

He was screaming... (I just couldn't resist taking a picture!)

Someone Looks Ornery!

Sucha beautiful baby girl!

Exceptionally fun EDITS!

So, I have been in a photography slump for the last few months to say the least.  As much as it inspires me, pinterest has not been able to get me out and create beautiful pictures.  However... I have been playing around with some new "actions" I bought to just make images beautiful.  So now here comes the vain part of me.  Of course I spend a lot of my time editing my own self portraits.  People on facebook are all the time bashing the "self portraiters" of the world.  I will admit I am one of "those" people.  When I am feeling pretty-bam it's time to take a shot and commemorate this moment.  Not only does it make me feel good about myself it is sometimes so much easier editing photographs of yourself than other people.  So here are a few of my self portraits of me playing around with new the "actions"

Now... here are some oldies that I just couldn't help myself playing around with... we're talking years old lol :)

Little Miss Madie and Mindy!

Little Miss Madie was needing a head shot for a dance competition but I just couldn't take one picture!  These two were so much fun and Madie was quite the little poser AND I got all of this in literally minutes as in 10-15!!  I can't wait to do more pictures of them in the future!

It was just a little bright here!

Sucha little doll

Mindy wasn't needing a picture but she was literally standing just like this and I made her stop for a picture!

Can you tell they are both dancers?

Probably my favorite of the two of them!

Sisterly Love

The head shot we chose!

The last two were a close 2nd and 3rd!
